The location of your session is a key element of the planning process. I photograph exclusively with natural light, and I take great care to ensure that the backdrop of your photos is beautiful and free of undesired noise.

Time of Day
For outdoor sessions, I strive to photograph during the two hours after sunrise in the morning or in the two hours leading up to sunset in the evening. For in-home sessions, late mornings and afternoons work well.
Attire
We will collaborate on your wardrobe selection. Neutral tones and delicate textures photograph beautifully. Your attire should ideally suit the season and location of your session.

do you offer mini sessions?
Yes, outdoor mini sessions are offered seasonally and on a limited basis. Session dates, locations, and other details are announced on Instagram.
HOW FAR IN ADVANCE SHOULD WE SCHEDULE?
I book up to 5 months out. For newborn sessions, I recommend reaching out in your second trimester to ensure availability. For outdoor sessions, autumn is always my busiest season.
dO YOU TRAVEL OUTSIDE THE CHICAGO AREA?
Yes, I travel as far as 30 miles from downtown Chicago. Please contact me to see if a travel fee will apply to your location.
